A duple improper contra by Bill Olson
A1: Circle L x 1 (8), W chain ALONG the set* (8)
A2: B & S partner (16) (face across)
B1: Circle L x 1 (8), W chain ACROSS the set (8)
B2: Hey (16) (W start R sh)
Notes: In A1 the chain is up and down the hal. Since this is a bit
unusual it is best to tell the dancers they chain to their neighbor and end up
on side of set with their partners. This figure works best if the sets are not
too crowded! This dance grew out of the desire to have the same figure done
twice but in different orientations each time. The hey in B2 is seven changes
and flows nicely to the circle L. The chain along to Partner B&S works
surprisingly well. This dance was written in July,2000, and first called at
Bowdoinham Town Hall on July 15. It's dedicated to all those "dancers" that
come to the dance but do not!
