The A part of this dance was lifted from Rick Mohr's "Spoot The Dog". Spoot is Malcolm Sanders' dog. Spoot, Rick and Malcolm are all wonderful creatures. This dance works nicely to introduce a hey near the beginning of a dance program. We like Jigs that are sort of bouncy in the A and smooth in the B part. High Part of the Road (G), Morrison's (Em), and Greg Anderson's GREAT Jig "Kitten on a Black Dog's Tail" (A) work. Written or shall we say "adapted" Dec., 1996. Thanks Rick.
