A2: Bal wave (to R then L) slide to R past Partner (as in Rory O'More) to new wave (8), Bal wave (to L then R) slide L (8)
B1: B & S Partner (16)
B2: Circle L 3/4 (6), Do sa do N x 1.5 to meet new N (10)
Notes: The fun part of this dance (and the most difficult for
the dancers to grasp at first) is the two hand balance, two hand box the
gnat. Since the next figure is a circle, I figured the two hand balance...
would be easier to remember than "inside hand balance..." It ends with
the arms crossed at which point it is easy to drop the correct hands and
join them in a circle. I like the circle to a wave figure. On December
28, 1998, Scrod Pudding had a day off in Greensboro, NC, and needed to
find some special "sticky stuff" to attach Jim's pickup to his mandolin.
We spent a couple hours "at the mall" in a fruitless search. This is the
dance that was brewing in my mind at the time.
